This album was composed and recorded for a live sound installation in tandem with a performance of "The Housatonic at Stockbridge" composed by Charles Ives and played by the Louisville Orchestra.

During the live performance, all the pieces on this album are played and blended simultaneously on separate cassette tapes.

The installation is representative of the process, spirit, and stratified metaphors found in “Housatonic at Stockbridge”. Ives’ composition is a sonic collage of disparate elements. My installation is a reverse engineered companion collage built of the musical and extra musical components extracted from his work.
